Championship Houston, Texas

Hey cool C@Ts!

The SigmaC@T family has had quite the experience earning a position to go Championships as the Smoky Mountain Regional Finalist. While competing in Championships we faced some challenges, but persevered and became the quarter-finalist in our division. We had plenty of fun and showed tons of team spirit. Some of our members even had the privilege and honor to meet Dean Kamen and Woodie Flowers. We are extremely grateful and hope to be at the next FIRST Robotics championships. Thank you to all of our 2017 sponsors for your support throughout the year!

Smoky Mountain Regional & Championships!

Hey cool C@Ts!

The past few days have been days well spent for the SigmaC@T family. Competing in Smoky Mountain Regional was a challenging and fun experience for us; it was where our hard work paid off and showed through our performance. That being said, we made it to finals as regional finalists!

The feeling was overwhelming for us all and we are very grateful for the experience FIRST has provided our members. Our sponsors have especially been a huge support and we could not have gotten where we are today without them. We are super excited to continue on in the season, Go SigmaC@Ts!

Steamworks Kickoff!!!

Hey cool C@Ts!

3, 2, 1, GO!! This years FRC Kickoff was amazing for the Sigmacats, and oh boy, does Steamworks look fun and challenging! As done in the past, everyone on the team gave input on strategies and ideas for our upcoming robot. Arriving at Motorola Solutions, an amazing sponsor of ours, as early as 9 A.M., the dedicated SigmaC@T members stayed till 3 P.M., a whopping 6 hours. Students alongside the mentors reviewed this years game manual, inside and out, and by the days end had quite a few solid strategies in mind for the FRC Steamworks game. The SigmaC@T's would also like to personally thank Motorola Solutions for hosting this excellent Kickoff event as always. BUILD SEASON STARTS NOW!!!

We showcased our robot to the Motorola employees and showed them what we have been diligently working on this entire year.  They seemed very interested in our work and we would like to say thank you to them for providing mentors and donations to this program. We are looking forwarded to the 2014- 2015 season.
